Newton, our star-gazing, pond-loving, physics-loving golden retriever passed away this week after 14 years of showing our family unconditional love and affection. Nights in the backyard under the stars will never be the same again.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 112-mile bike tour of the Great Allegheny Passage, from Confluence to Pittsburgh. The ebike did terrific and made hauling the camping and other gear easy.

For the first time, we tried growing spaghetti squash vertically in our raised beds. Harvested 22 in total, which we hope will keep over the winter.
